Serving the Brazos Valley since 1945, the Palermo name has been synonymous with quality. Allen has built on that foundation set by his father.
Allen’s accomplishments with whitetail deer are unequalled by anyone in the state of Texas. He is the only taxidermist to date to win the North American Champion award for the best whitetail deer shoulder mount at the National Taxidermist Association convention and competition. That same year he also won North American Champion for an axis deer, putting him in an elite group of individuals to ever win two championships at one show. He has also won numerous state titles and best of shows. He has been called on to judge and give seminars at other state and national competitions over the years. In 2000, at the Texas Trophy Hunters Association Taxidermy Competition, Allen won first place in Houston, San Antonio, & Fort Worth, capturing the all around championship for both life size and shoulder mount whitetails.
Although uncomfortable listing our accomplishments, we know that there are others who claim to be the best; but at Allen Palermo Taxidermy, when it comes to whitetails, game heads, and life size mammals, we have the awards to prove it. Our love for what we do and our commitment to excellence definitely will show.
